Our client, a leader in Industrial Automation, Electrical Reliability, and Lifecycle Asset Management
Solutions, is seeking a highly experienced Senior Industrial Electrical Reliability Specialist to support the growth of their Reliability Services Business Unit. This team delivers advanced motor diagnostics, rotating equipment analysis, predictive maintenance programs, and electrical reliability solutions that help industrial clients improve asset performance, reduce downtime, and extend equipment life.
Role Overview
The ideal candidate will bring expertise in electric motor systems, motor diagnostics, electrical reliability, and rotating equipment health assessment. Success in this role requires exceptional analytical and troubleshooting skills, along with the ability to mentor technical teams and provide trusted technical guidance to customers.
Key Responsibilities
Lead advanced diagnostic assessments of AC/DC motors, VFD-driven equipment, and critical rotating assets.
Perform motor circuit analysis, Electrical Signature Analysis (ESA), current signature analysis, vibration analysis, insulation testing, surge testing, and partial discharge testing.
Diagnose failures related to stator and rotor faults, eccentricity, misalignment, soft foot, power quality issues, harmonics, and motor control systems.
Develop and enhance predictive maintenance and condition-based monitoring (CBM) programs, including motor fleet health assessments and criticality analysis.
Lead root cause failure investigations (RCFA) and provide reliability improvement recommendations.
Support commissioning, troubleshooting, and optimization of motor control systems, VFDs, soft starters, MCCs, and motor protection schemes.
Analyze single-line diagrams, control logic, relay schemes, and electrical distribution systems to assess equipment performance and reliability risks.
Develop technical standards, testing procedures, reporting templates, and best practices while mentoring technicians, engineers, and field personnel.
